Patricia Martínez (Pasto, Colombia 1993) is a contemporary artist who works with various media, including drawing, installation, interventions in public space, and sound memories.
Her work, which often has a three-dimensional, sculptural, or installation character, seeks to explore social issues, context, and territory, especially in relation to water.
She holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Nariño, with an emphasis on pedagogy and arts education. In addition to her work as an artist, she also works as a project coordinator, independent workshop facilitator, and is part of the Culture and Region research group at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Nariño.
She has been the recipient of circulation grants and has received recognition both nationally and internationally. Additionally, she has developed exhibition projects and artistic residencies in places such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
